Michaela’s visionary analogue photography highlights contemporary feminist magical realism. Her muses are the connecting threads of myth and body-in-landscape portraiture.

Endlessly fascinated by photography’s ability to alchemise light, she re-imagines embodied and sensorial relations to nature.

As well as her personal work, she has worked on a multitude of commissions and collaborative projects; from portraits to album covers, photo books, fashion and craft shoots and super-8 film.

Based in Melbourne, Australia. She often travels for commission projects in the UK and Europe.
